The World Bowls Tour (WBT) has announced a landmark £1 million investment from Potters Resorts into the sport of bowls over the next five years.
Reinforcing Potters Resorts’ long-standing support for the game, this investment will secure and develop the future of top-tier bowls events, and will be allocated to three key areas:
- The continued development of the Scottish International Open
- Securing the prize fund for the prestigious World Indoor Bowls Championships held at Potters Resorts and broadcast on BBC TV each January
- The introduction of a brand new UK Open event set to launch in the spring of 2026.
